The Washington Mystics tested their newcomers and seasoned players together against the
New York Liberty in a scrimmage game that tested the skills of Mystics players.
Plaqued by pre-season injuries from favorites, guard Alana Beard (shoulder), and Nikki Blue, and still awaiting the return
of several key players, the Mystics showed that they are not without need of their key players.
The team's owner, General Manager, and coach are optimistic that once the players return and gel with the rookies, the
girls will be ready for the season.
