“I am Barack Obama. Most of you covered me. All of you voted for me.”
That was the opening liner from our
44th President at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a yearly event for the press/media who cover the goings on at the most popular residence in the Nation's Capital, and quite
possibly in all of the free world.
Comedian Wanda Sykes couldn’t have been more on point with her political, comedic wit. She even stated that the President may be a bit too
accessible – taking his wife out on the town, getting a burger with the vice president.
“You’re everywhere. I might look up and see you mowing the
lawn. Please don’t get him a John Deere”, Sykes jokes.
While I am saddened I missed this year’s
event (last year’s was a blast), you can watch this year's entire event below, and view our last year photos here.
