This Far

To the weary, yet wise keep your head to the sky

Let no man hinder your ability to fly

When doubt is your darkness, let hope be your light

When weak is your flesh, let God be your might

Destruct not yourself with hatred and greed

Because the path you follow, could be the path you lead

Let your heart remain sweet, with a bitter less beat

And God, will grant you great serenity and peace

Replace stress with faith, when your life is at it's low

For tomorrow belongs to God, not your worries or woe's

So what, if your goals are like a recurring dream

Just keep looking to the heavens, no matter how far it may seem
And if, when you feel abandoned, and forget who you are

Remember the Almighty Maker, who has brought you this far.
