R&B songtress, Jaguar Wright performs
during a segment of R&B Live DC.
May 19th - R&B Live DC, a monthly social held at Posh Ultra Lounge in NW, DC featured the sounds of Natasha Jane, Kevin Ross, and the soulful Jaguar Wright at its May event.
R&B Live DC offers a soulful, yet hip, gathering of friends,
where fashion and music meet in a swanky, yet un-crowded environment allowing patrons an up close and intimate encounter
with the artists, without the usual fan fair of the crowded club scene.
The event is quickly becoming a staple in the community
and has featured the likes of Howard Hewitt, Wayna, Chuck Brown, and debuted in September 2008 Marhsa Ambrosius (of Floetry).
Congressmen and sports figures like Michael Jordan, Redskins’ Clinton Portis and Devin Thomas
have frequented the events.
Posh Ultra Lounge is located at 730 11th Street,
within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt Washington hotel, and one block of Metro Center.
