Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first network dedicated to adults 50+, announces the series premiere of Whole Body Health (WBH), an original program that provides viewers expert medical commentary and firsthand accounts of the buzz worthy and sometimes unconventional holistic healthcare treatments available today. The series explores several alternative treatments, including: Bee Sting Therapy, Superfoods, Cancer and Enzymes Therapy, Native American Healing and more. It also features modern analysis on ancient healing practices and reveals whether these remedies truly work.

  • A variety of guests including best-selling author of the YOU series, Michael Roizen, MD.  A Dr. Oz collaborator and frequent Oprah guest, Roizen explains how an active sex life can lead to a longer life.

  • Testimony from the people who have successfully used alternative medicine such as a nurse with stage 2 ovarian cancer who forewent traditional methods to be treated with pig enzymes.

  • The buzz on bee sting therapy and why some doctors are beginning to use bee venom in their practice.

  • Best-selling author and anti-aging specialist, Nicholas Perricone, MD discussing how certain Superfoods can reduce wrinkles.

  • A look at Native American healing that begins with a fifth generation Navajo medicine man and progresses into WBH’s show host participating in a traditional Native American sweat lodge.

Whole Body Health explores holistic approaches to health care. Each week we take viewers on a journey into the world of complementary, alternative and integrative medicine,” said Elliot Jacobson, VP Programming and Production, RLTV. “Distinguishing features of the program are the reality checks that involve medical experts weighing in on the alternative treatments and regular reminders  to viewers to have a discussion with a primary care physician before trying any therapy or dietary change.”

Whole Body Health, a companion series to the network’s award-winning Healthline program is hosted by medical journalist Kevin J. Soden, MD and executive produced by David Wasser. The program will air at 9 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, April 29.
