March 24, 2008 - In a statement released today, The Washington Mystics have decided to release guard, Nikki Teasley.
The reason for the release is unclear at this time,
as are future plans for the former player.
“We
are thankful to Nikki for her two seasons of service with the Mystics and wish her only the best in her future endeavors,”
said Hargrove.
In
2007, Teasley averaged 5.2 points per game and 3.3 assists per game. The Mystics acquired Teasley in 2006 following four seasons with the Los Angeles Sparks.

am grateful to have been part of a world class organization such as the Mystics and wish them nothing but the best,”
said Teasley.

The Washington Mystics will tip off the 2008
season on Saturday, May 17th, on the road against the Indiana Fever. Washington will host the club’s home
opener on Sunday, May 25th against the four-time WNBA Champion, Houston Comets at 4:00 p.m.
