January 14, 2010 - No matter what your fitness level or your age; you can join the rest of America to achieve better health! The mission is simple: get America in better shape by getting everybody moving and grooving to the rhythm of live drums and DJ house beats.  Wanda and Tiacoh have created and produced a simple line dance that’s so much fun, you'll want to share it with your friends, colleagues, and families. It's a beat that touches the heart of the human soul; that includes all races, all cultures, all genders - from little kids to teens; from the able-bodied to the physically challenged; from adults to seniors – everybody can do it!  NCNW has joined the movement as it kicks off 75 years of service to the Black community.

Although good health is of national importance, it is essential that we turn our attention to the health of our nation’s capital, which has one of the country’s highest rates of obesity and related morbidity.  As a result, a partnership with WandaWoman Enterprises, the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW), celebrating 75 years of leading, developing and advocating for women of African descent, their families and communities, and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) was established to address the issue of obesity and to encourage families locally and nationwide to make healthier lifestyle choices through fitness. Future plans include health, fitness and nutrition workshops and a traveling program to support and promote healthy families through NCNW’s over 180 Sections and 38 National Affiliate Organizations – culminating with national “EveryBody Work It!” Day at the NCNW 25th Anniversary Black Family Reunion Celebration, September 11-12, 2010.

On Saturday, January 9, 2010, the first taping of the EveryBody Work It! Line Dance for YouTube took place at the ACC Conference Center in Washington, DC.  The launching of the EveryBody Work It! Line Dance will take place at the NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo 2010.  WandaWoman will be on the Main Demonstration Stage with the OVER 40 FITNESS DIVAS, NCNW members, boys and girls, men and women, leading the EveryBody Work It! Line Dance at 2pm on both Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th, 2010 at the Washington Convention Center.

Wanda Bamberg Tia “aka WandaWoman,” is a renowned dancer, choreographer and motivational speaker, voted DC’s Best Aerobic Fitness Leader.  WandaWoman Enterprises, based in Washington, DC, has been inspiring the young and old for over 25 years, to keep their bodies moving, their hearts happy, and their lifestyles healthy!

Tiacoh Sadia, multi-talented drummer and pianist, joins his wife in many artistic endeavors while still maintaining his own creative efforts from composing to performing.  Multi-cultural audiences have enjoyed Wanda and Tiacoh's joint performances for years!  Join NCNW and ACC, along with Wanda and Tiacoh, to achieve better health, and get America moving!
