June 17 and 18, 2006 - The Alexandria Red Cross celebrated
Father's Day weekend in good fashion with its annual Alexandria, Virginia Waterfront Festival .
This year's event boasted its usual line up of vendors,
arts, crafts, children's rides, fireworks, and food along the banks of the Potomac river in Oronoco Bay Park.
While the weather was hot and humid, equally hot and smoking were the sounds of local jazz saxophone artist,
Kim Waters.
His scintillating, saxy sounds captivated the audience
as he performed fan favorites as well as a myriad of songs from his new CD, All For Love; a savory
blend of smooth grooves to satisfy even the most discriminating musical palette.
Truly a family affair, Kim was joined onstage by his
brother, who plays the bass guitar in this foursome of talented musicians, while his sister, mom, and dad joined
the many audience members who cheered and applauded this wonderfully talented artist.
