Friends Pay Tribute to Gerald LeVert

After 24 years in the industry, Johnny Gill, now 38, came home to Washington, D.C. to pay tribute his friend and former member of 80s recording group, LSG, Gerald LeVert, who recently departed from us late last year.

Wearing an all white suit with matching long-sleeved shirt and white shoes Johnny Gill performed old favorites like 'Rub You The Right Way', and 'There You Go' before becoming emotional as he sang his friend’s songs: 'Hold On To Me', and 'I’m Ready', that made Gerald so popular with both male and female fans alike.

Johnny told the audience that after 24 years in the industry, and having performed around the country, he’s most nervous coming home where his career started......
