The Real Master Cleanser - Coconut Water
What is coconut water?
Coconut water comes from the green water coconuts that grow in the tropical paradises of the
world.
The coconut water was designed by Mother Nature herself to completely nourish and cleanse the
human body temple. The water makes its way from the ocean and minerals of the earth and travels through a perfect
distillation process by travelling along the long coconut palm tree and is collected and maintained into a pressurized
green shell.
Sometimes the shell is yellow or orange depending on variety. Mother Nature has perfectly
produced a living water that gives us a life and vitality that once discovered, it becomes very difficult to go back
to drinking commercial bottled water.
The coconut water will cleanse and nourish without the addition of any herbs, spices, or other
additives. Given these and many other innumerable qualities, the coconut water is the Real Master Cleanser.
Let's look at what most people have come to know as the Master Cleanse, or the Lemonade Diet. Stanley
Burroughs created the Lemonade recipe in 1941, and this cleansing recipe has been recently made popular by Peter Glickman.
Many people, including celebrities, have undergone the lemonade diet with great results. This is a fantastic thing.
Again, people are taking more responsibility for their health in this age of information and greater consciousness of
diet having a direct correlation to our health.
The lemonade recipe consists of water, fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. What is also included
is to do a salt water flush and to drink a laxative tea. If anyone is interested in doing this particular fast I would
make some suggestions.
Number 1. I would use distilled water. The recipe to my knowledge doesn't call for a specific
type of water over another.
All of natural drinking water is distilled, or "soft". Coconut water is a soft distilled water and so is all of
the water contained in all fruits and vegetables. So you can either buy distilled water by the gallon or invest in a
distiller.
Number 2. I would use agave nectar rather than maple syrup. Agave nectar is a diabetic safe
sweetner that comes from a cactus plant. Agave has gone through very little processing and is one of the best sweetners
any health conscious person should have available to them for juices, smoothies, deserts, and dressings.
Maple syrup is highly refined. Syrup from trees in their natural state are very bitter and in order for the syrup
to become sweet it has to undergo multiple processes of boiling and refining. Agave is the superior alternative.
Number 3. instead of cayenne pepper, practice yoga daily. The purpose of cayenne pepper is to
stimulate blood flow. To practice yoga daily will allow your blood and lymph to move out the unnecessary toxins that
is clogging up the system. Yoga will also do much more in the way of exercise and healing the body by allowing the body
to become better aligned and more relaxed.
As far as the salt and herbal regimen, this is necessary for the lemonade diet recommended as the so-called master cleanser.
The salt water and smooth move herbal teas will stimulate your bowels to eliminate waste from your body. However, herbs
and salt water act by shocking by body through stimulation rather allowing your body the freedom to work the waste out of
the body by its own power.
My thought is that if the lemonade recipe is the master cleanser, why is salt and herbal laxative teas needed?
Drinking the coconut water alone is sufficient for adequate nourishing and cleansing. You can drink coconut water
everyday of your life and some have made the argument that you can even live solely on coconut water and thrive. You
can not live on salt water and herbal teas.
Using your food as your medicine is always the best way to go. And this is why the coconut water as a healing water,
a drinking water, and a fasting water is the real master cleasner and is second to none.
