September 11, 2008 - Many are remembering the events that threw this nation into a whirlwind September 11, 2001
when hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York, the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania.
This 911 call gives a chilling account of one man trying to save his life, and his co-workers' lives, on that fateful
date.
While many remember, others want Americans to know that events like 9/11 are God's way to get our attention.
A group from Westboro Baptist church in Topeka, Kansas hold signs along Wisconsin Avenue in the District today that say,
"9/11 Gift From God".
My only question is, why are the young girl, who admitted that today is her 16th birthday, and the young boys behind
her, not in school?
Isn't Kansas a long way to drive for a protest?
Apparently not.
They were at this morning's 9/11 service at the Pentagon, as well.
Minister Jeremiah Wright got flack when he said "God damn America", (see video), but this group travels the country with the same message, year round.
